uk media home cinema the movie “easy rider” revolves around two bikers making a trip from los angeles to uk media home cinema new orleans to attend mardi gras the first scene in the film involves the two uk media home cinema main characters selling a good amount of cocaine to a man in rolls royce after uk media home cinema the drug deal the bikers begin their journey to mardi gras but not before one uk media home cinema of them removes his watch and throws it on the ground i found this indicative uk media home cinema of his pursuit of freedom because time serves only to constrain us once on the uk media home cinema road you learn that their names are wyatt and billy an obvious reference to wyatt uk media home cinema earp and billy the kid who are considered american legends as well as outlaws wyatt uk media home cinema rides a chopper with the stars and stripes on the gas tank and on his uk media home cinema helmet while sporting the now cliché leather jacket billy is dressed up like a cowboy; uk media home cinema he is wearing all tan leather with a wide brim hat also throughout the movie uk media home cinema billy refers to wyatt as captain america all of these things serve to ingrain the uk media home cinema belief that they embody the american dream which is to earn enough money to pursue uk media home cinema your dream it just so happens that their dream is freedom the same belief that uk media home cinema led to the creation of the united states the two of them go through a uk media home cinema series of adventures first stopping off at a motel where theyre rejected regardless of the uk media home cinema glowing vacancy sign they leave the motel and camp out in the wilderness at a uk media home cinema point wyatts bike gets a flat and they stop at a farm to fix it uk media home cinema it is at this point that the film makes a comparison of the bikers to uk media home cinema cowboys as wyatt is fixing his tire a man in the background is shoeing his uk media home cinema horse this is obviously making the point that wyatt is the new version of the uk media home cinema cowboy and his chopper is the new cowboy’s steed during this scene there is an uk media home cinema exchange between wyatt and the were wyatt tells the farmer how much he admires his uk media home cinema farm because he built it with his own hands this is the first time that uk media home cinema you get an idea of wyatt’s values as they continue their journey they pick up uk media home cinema a hitchhiker a discussion between the three of them reveals that the hiker was from uk media home cinema a city but he refuses to say which it was as he believes that all uk media home cinema of them are the same this is an idea that was brought out in the uk media home cinema 60s culture that the idea of big business which the city represented was a way uk media home cinema of losing ones identity in this discussion about identity the hitchhiker expresses that he would uk media home cinema like to be porky pig wyatt replies that hes never wanted to be anything but uk media home cinema himself this interaction serves to underscore the difference between wyatt and the hitchhiker the hitchhiker uk media home cinema wants to be a fictional character; he is running from the city wyatt on the uk media home cinema other hand only wants to be himself; he is searching for something wyatt and billy uk media home cinema bring the hiker to a commune that he lives in throughout this section there is uk media home cinema a peaceful feeling the commune was an idea that came to moderate popularity during the uk media home cinema 60s especially this shows the idea in a very positive light everyone seems to be uk media home cinema getting along people are having fun and theyre all sharing the workload there isnt much uk media home cinema food left but the people are working on growing food wyatt truly admires the people uk media home cinema on the commune and tells billy that “they’ll make it” wyatt feels comfortable there as uk media home cinema opposed to billy who begins to freak out when the entire commune is singing “does uk media home cinema you hair hang low?” this scene makes the differences between wyatt and billy quite obvious uk media home cinema wyatt is content to live in the middle of the desert on a commune for uk media home cinema the rest of his life billy on the other hand can’t stand the communal life uk media home cinema for more than one afternoon after leaving the commune they get arrested for parading without uk media home cinema a permit this signifies a shift in the environment no longer are they cruising through uk media home cinema the desert without a care in the world they are in the deep south which uk media home cinema at the time was not exactly a bastion of free love and acceptance in jail uk media home cinema they meet george hanson an aclu lawyer with a drinking problem and a powerful father uk media home cinema hanson makes the remark that he can get them out of jail provided that they uk media home cinema didn’t kill anyone white this casual racism cannot be used as a barometer of george’s uk media home cinema beliefs but of the common perceptions of the south at the time on the way uk media home cinema to new orleans they stop at a diner once inside it becomes blatantly clear that uk media home cinema they do not in any way belong there between the staring schoolgirls and the good uk media home cinema old boys they decide to leave and camp out in the woods while camping out uk media home cinema they are beaten by the good old boys and as a result george is killed uk media home cinema this scene shows the willingness of the locals to use violence to deal with anyone uk media home cinema different the death of george foreshadows things to come wyatt and billy continue on to uk media home cinema new orleans once in new orleans the religious imagery arrives in torrents on the entrance uk media home cinema to the brothel the line "if god did not exist it would be necessary to uk media home cinema invent him" is carved wyatt and billy take the prostitutes out on the streets for uk media home cinema mardi gras then to a cemetery for an acid trip after leaving the brothel wyatt uk media home cinema and billy get into a conversation where billy talks about how theyve got the big uk media home cinema money how theyre free wyatt disagrees and says "we blew it" there are several things uk media home cinema that this can tie in to and it mostly has to do with the fact uk media home cinema that wyatt really wasnt on this trip to make the money or to reach florida uk media home cinema really for him it was a "quest for lost america" wyatt realizes that they arent uk media home cinema free and also realizes that the world that they live in will never allow them uk media home cinema to be truly free because true freedom scares people the line “we blew it” is uk media home cinema a reference to wyatt’s afterthought that he would have been truly happy if he had uk media home cinema stayed on the commune he realizes that he blew his chance for happiness then the uk media home cinema end of the movie comes when wyatt and billy are killed by rednecks in a uk media home cinema truck the killing of wyatt and billy makes them martyrs after billy is shot wyatt uk media home cinema hops on his bike and ride right past the truck that shot billy he had uk media home cinema to know that they would shoot him as well but he realized that death was uk media home cinema the only way he could truly be free

WHO CHOSE THE TOP 20 U.K. HI-FI, HOME CINEMA & CUSTOM INSTALLATION DEALERS?

From an initial small core group, all the dealers were chosen and invited to participate in these listings. Dealers were chosen following consultation with manufacturers, distributors and other industry experts. Quality of advice, product knowledge, demonstration facilities, service, and installation skills are all essential factors that have helped to decide the selection of the participating dealers. In common with many other trades and areas of commerce, the best dealers are known within the industry. Their reputations have often been built up over many years and are very important to them because much of their custom comes through recommendation. For example, a survey carried out by one of the participating dealers, Rayleigh Hi-Fi, revealed that over 90% of their customers had either purchased from them previously or had come to them on the recommendation of someone who had purchased from them.

All participating Hi-Fi, Home Cinema and Custom Installation dealers are service orientated and employ fully-trained, skilled personnel to ensure their customers get the best results possible. Their distribution is also normally over a large geographical area.

There are two main trade organisations covering the Hi-Fi, Home Cinema and Custom Installation retail and installation industry, British Audio-Visual Dealers Association (B.A.D.A.) and Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA). These organisations help to raise and maintain high standards and offer various safeguards for consumers purchasing through their members. Most of the Top 20 Dealers are members of one or both trade organisations.
